Take Action

If you’re just finding out that Verdad Resources has proposed a 22-well fracking pad near your neighborhood in Windsor, Severance, or Timnath, you’re not alone. And you’re not too late! Weld County has scheduled a hearing on the Century Pad’s 1041 WOGLA permit for October 1, 2026, which means there’s still time to get informed, get organized, and get heard before a decision is made. File an application for intervention

Weld County has scheduled the 1041 WOGLA hearing on the Century Pad for October 1, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. Anyone who lives within 2,000 feet of the proposed pad (or who can show they’d be directly affected) has the right to file an Application for Intervention with Weld County. Intervenors can testify, present evidence, and question the applicant at the hearing itself; it’s the most direct way a resident can influence the outcome. Applications for Intervention are due by September 11, 2026 (20 days before the hearing), so don’t wait until the last minute to start one.

Make sure your neighbors know

Weld County only required Verdad to formally notify property owners within 2,000 feet of the proposed pad surface site. If you live further out, or you’re not sure your neighbors got notice, tell them yourself. Share this website with them. The more people who know this is happening, the more voices will be heard when it matters.

Request an informational session

If you’re part of an HOA, church group, school group, or just a handful of neighbors who want the full picture, we’ll come to you. We’ll walk through what’s being proposed, what it means for your neighborhood, and what your options are — no pressure, just information.
